A number of tools developed to select, visualize or download NGVS data and data products are listed below, as well as links to some astronomical catalogues that may be of use to researchers. Note that some of these tools are still under development, and that some services are still proprietary to NGVS team members.

Images, Data and Data Products

The NGVS Graphical Search Tool allows users to navigate the NGVS survey footprint (including the survey grid and individual pointings) and view or download a selection of image stacks (i.e., MegaPipe, Strasbourg, Elixir, THELI and Terapix). This tool also allows users to find and/or download images the individual images (including corresponding weight and sigma images) used to generate stacks for each NGVS field. Link.

NGVS Catalogue Query Page allows users to perform ADQL queries on different NGVS object catalogues (i.e., those generated using Sextractor, with or without aperture corrections, and the NGVS photometric redshift catalogue).

NGVS Image Cutouts Tool allows users to view and download cutouts of NGVS images around a specified position or list of positions. Link.

NGVS Point Spread Function (PSF) Page describes the NGVS PSF service: how to access it and how the PSFs were generated. These PSFs are only available for the MegaPipe images, with two PSFs  available, one generated with DAOPHOT and the other with PSFex. Link.

NGVS Image Preview Service allows users to get previews around a specified list of positions. Link.

Mapping and Visualization Tools

The NGVS Map Tool allows users to select and overlay sources from various objects catalogues on NGVS colour images. Catalogue information is also downloadable using this tool.  Link.

The NGVS Galaxy Classification Tool, which is currently under development, will allow users to visually inspect and classify program galaxies on the basis of multi-band images, colour maps and unsharp-masked images.
